the brief
This customer approached Portland for a kitchen that would complement the period characteristics of their family home, whilst also being highly functional for entertaining. The simplicity of the beaded shaker in two neutral tones, coupled with white quartz worksurfaces creates a calming atmosphere. Portland were also able to supply customised elements like the open display wall unit to match the door fronts, a custom larder unit to house a microwave at the customers preferred height and reduced depth island units.

Designers tips
Add sophistication by designing your kitchen in harmony with the shape of the room. In this case the island was designed with curved doors and worktops both ends to dovetail with the curved bay window adjacent.
