What's your sinkscape style?

Travel through a collection of some of the most inspiring sinkscapes we’ve ever seen.  Washing up just became a dream…

Monochrome medley

Carrara marble worktops wrap seamlessly over a white, handless kitchen by Portland.  An elegant and uncluttered atmosphere is brought to life through artistic arrangements; the sinkscape a perfectly designed picture in it’s own right.  A flexible, pullout tap in stainless steel, subtle draining grooves in the worktop, and the open outlook onto the garden are just a few of the details we’re loving…

Utilitarian

Of course, the kitchen sink isn’t only limited to the... kitchen.  This beautiful take on a boot-room-cum-utility area ticks every box.  Mixing traditional, dark green cabinetry with rustic firewood and wicker baskets is a timeless combination. It’s the unexpected marble worktop, inbuilt sink and shiny (albeit old-fashioned in style) brass taps that define and finish the scheme.

Statement piece

If you’re opting for a neutral kitchen, why not let your sink do the talking with an eye-catching design?  This amazing creation would steal the show in any kitchen, it’s hard to believe it could serve a practical purpose as well!  That is, if you can bear to turn the tap on…

Reflective sinking

Luxury black, granite worktops, an in-frame painted shaker style, and a beautiful vista across the garden provide the perfect backdrop for this Portland sinkscape.  A traditional Belfast (aka ‘Farmhouse’) sink is set into the worktop, with an instant hot/cold tap arcing elegantly over it.  The granite worktops are high gloss and reflect the scene very crisply – double the sinkscape impact!

Sinking feeling

Another ceramic Belfast sink, this time coupled with classic brass taps in an antique revival design.  Apart from the view out into the garden,  details such as the unique brass hardware, the light blue metro tiles, and open shelving make this sinkscape idyllic.  You could be an hour into washing up before you’d even notice…

Sage styling

A murky green kitchen concoction, styled once again around a white ceramic Butler sink.  Drawing attention to the cleverly considered layout, a trio of pendant lights are suspended above the sinkscape, rather than over a central island as is the norm – unexpected but very successful.  The pullout wooden chopping boards, the contrast between the crisp white and sage green, and the beautiful open shelved unit all make this kitchen picture perfect.

Room with a view

Allowing interaction with guests when entertaining, and a scenic view through to the garden when not, the open layout of this Portland sink area is really something special.  Silestone Daria worktops house a built-in sink, complete with insinkerator and a brushed steel tap.

Island of it’s own

Impeccably designed, from the herringbone parquet floor to the brass drawer pulls and consistent colour scheme…  this kitchen leaves nothing to chance.  With an island to itself, the well-considered sinkscape boasts two sections, a brass tap, and a separate tap for drinking water.

Dark and daring

Matt black is appearing everywhere, and we have to say we’re not averse to the trend – rather the opposite!  How sleek and tasteful does the tap appear in this daring kitchen design?  Encased in a well-lit alcove, surrounded by dark cupboard fronts, and backed by a dramatic marble splashback…  You’d be hard pushed to beat this sinkscape.

Visual appeal

Featuring a slimline black tap, and a metal sink in the same finish, this kitchen feels immediately modern and contemporary.  Leather handles add a unique touch to the design, creating textural depth along with the wooden worktops and styled kitchen products.
